종로 Anywhere Stage, care to dance with the dreams of youth?
Introduction
When the city breeze brushes by, the squares and parks of Jongno turn into stages for the day. As day turns to night, the texture of the music changes too, and sound and light gently spread among those who pause their steps. In this rhythm that flows with the seasons, everyday life slowly becomes a performance.

Impressions from My Visit
Today is November 11, 2025. Since the ‘종로 어디나 스테이지’ festival runs from May 8 to December 14 this year, we’re currently in the middle of the project. I’ve already visited several moments of this festival and can share my impressions.
I went to 종로 어디나 스테이지. At the spring opening gala concert at Gwanghwamun Square, the low-angled sunlight blended with the stage lights like a painting, and the audience’s anticipation hung in the air like a breath. At the Spring Night Finale Concert that followed, the sound resonated softly in the dark, and the night air wrapped around my whole body. Distant singing, twinkling lights nearby, and scattered laughter and applause all mixed together—perfect for calling it a “festival night.”
The June and July performances were also memorable. At the “Romantic Concert” in Suseong-dong Valley, music flowed between the scent of the woods and the sound of the stream, and the “After-Work Concert” at Heunginjimun Park gently tinted the city’s gray with color. At the “Youth Concert” in Marronnier Park, the songs, dances, and performances of young artists carried on the air, making passersby pause for a moment. What I loved most was the sense that “everyday life becomes art.” Music and art nesting not in concert halls but on streets, in parks, and in squares left a quiet afterglow in listeners’ hearts. The excitement of a surprise performance discovered in an unannounced spot, and the lights and sounds felt side by side with a friend in the city’s margins are still vivid. I’m already excited to see what new milestones this project will leave by year’s end. Since you’ll be outdoors often, a light jacket or a portable seat cushion will make things more comfortable.
