On a summer night, want to be immersed in light at FUTUREGROUND?
Introduction
As the warmth of a summer night slowly cooled, I stepped into a space where light and sound ripple in layers. The more you move, the more the screens respond; rhythm follows, and play turns into sensation—moments unfolding in calm succession.

Impressions from My Visit (or Plans)
Today is November 11, 2025, and FUTUREGROUND runs from May 30, 2025 to February 28, 2026. Since we’re within the event period, I’m sharing my visit—where the air, bright light, and digital tremors of that day still feel vivid. The moment I stepped inside, the lights hanging from the ceiling approached like fragments of a sparkling puzzle, and from the floor, waves of XR-infused sound tickled my toes. Laughter from people, machine-controlled audio, and the spread of electronic tones with every step turned this place into a living playground of the future. Each interactive content felt like turning a new page in a different story, and the Live Art XR zone—where colors from my drawing bled into the wall and came to life—tugged at my heart the most.
Though participation is light like play, I keenly realized that moving your body, listening, and sensing space with your whole being is the essence of a festival. In X-RUNNER, I leaped across the floor dodging lasers; in XR KICKER, the tactile thrill of kicking a virtual ball evoked a real stadium. And in AI-Drawing, the flow of color born from the pen tip reminded me that even in a saturated digital world, the charm of hand and senses remains. As I left, the sky over Gangseo-gu beyond the glass settled with low clouds, and the breeze seeping through the window felt cooler and newer in contrast to the digital soundscape. There’s plenty of active time, so comfortable shoes make everything feel lighter.
In the moments when the floor’s chill crossed with the warmth of light spreading across the screen, I realized this festival is more than an exhibition—it’s a space where senses and feelings intertwine. Crowds can vary by time of day, so plan to arrive with leeway before last entry.
