Oct 31–Nov 2, 2025 · 12:00–22:00 · Jungang-ro area (Nammunteo Plaza), 93, Jungang-ro (Yeong-dong), Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do 57941 · Fee: Paid · Organizer: Suncheon City (061-749-5796).
The Suncheon Food & Art Festival is held every autumn under the theme of “a joyful festival where food and art become one,” designed to benefit the local community. It makes rich use of local tourism resources—street snacks made with regional ingredients, hands-on art activities, and road-controlled zones that turn into stages for buskers and street art. In 2025, the festival embraces the theme of “healing resources,” continuing its journey toward sustainability and stay-friendly travel.
A spirited mix of culinary booths, art showcases, performances, and interactive experiences offers a full plate of culture and flavor.
Around 50 food stalls (including specialty booths) and about 50 art market vendors (ceramics, leather, metal crafts, and more) bring the streets to life.
The village-stay program “Sillangge” and downtown gourmet walks guide visitors into Suncheon’s neighborhoods for a dispersed, slow-travel experience.
Reusable tableware remains in use, collection points are provided, and shuttle buses help with comfortable movement across the festival area.
The Jungang-ro corridor becomes the festival street from Oct 31 to Nov 2; expect partial road closures and plan walking routes in advance.
Reusable containers and collection bins are available throughout the food market, with budget-friendly pricing policies across menus.
Pre-sold gift certificates can be used during and after the festival, and are accepted across partnered shops in the old downtown without item restrictions.
